In January, I had the opportunity to engage with the Computer Science Department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Our engagement aimed to foster academic cooperation, benefiting both Cheju Halla University and UNLV.

Our dialogue opened avenues for multiple collaborative ventures, including student exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and the development of academic curricula. We also deliberated on establishing dual degree offerings and short-term immersive experiences for undergraduates, spanning 4 to 6 weeks.

This venture aligns with our strategic objectives to enhance global academic alliances and enrich the developmental landscape for our scholars and learners. The collaboration between our institutions represents our dedication to enhancing the academic environment and leading progress in computer science academia.

My gratitude extends to Prof. Mingon Kang and Junggab Son for their pivotal role in orchestrating these discussions.
